I'm going to europe and need a gift for a german family.. what's something Really American?

i'm going on a trip with People to People and we do a thing called a homestay, which is where we stay with a family in their home in one of the countries. i'm staying with one in Germany, all delegates have to bring a gift for the family.. What is something that is American that i can give them? please no wiseguy remarks. thanks
