Can a life long problem gambler sue the government for monies lost to government endorsed gambling activities?

Can a problem gambler sue the Canadian or Provincal government for monies lost to gambling on Video Lottery terminals and Casinos? It just doesnt seem right that they endorese these machines and it becomes a problem for so many people!!! They should be held accountable for Luring the citizens it is supposed to protect! I am a 33 year old hard working canadian male that has spent every penny I have earned over the last 17 years in the work force on government endorsed gambling. I have finally been able to get it under control of my own validitty no thanks to any government addictions program as they did not help me. I have nothing to show for my last 17 years of working and now that I am not gambling I am furious as to why or how they could allow me to continue to fill their pockets year after year. I had a ruptured brain aneurysm last year in may and it seemed to have finally knocked some sense into me. I was unable to control myself previously it was feverish and has caused me many problems in my life.
